Itinerary:

7:00 AM - Pickup from your hotel in Cairo

Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel by your private Egyptologist guide. Start your exploration with a visit to the Giza Pyramids.

Giza Pyramids

• The Great Pyramids of Giza: Explore the magnificent Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.
• Valley Temple: Visit the temple where the body of King Chephren was mummified.
• The Sphinx: Marvel at the famous Sphinx, the mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of King Chephren.

This part of the tour will last around 2.5 hours.

1:00 PM - Lunch

Enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. You will have a chance to try local dishes, though drinks are not included. The lunch break lasts about 1 hour.

2:00 PM - Sakkara

After lunch, head to Sakkara, located about 16.5 miles (27 km) southwest of Cairo. Here, you'll visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, one of the oldest and most important pyramids in Egypt, built for the pharaoh Djoser.

3:30 PM - Memphis

Next, travel to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, which dates back to 3100 B.C. Highlights include:

• The colossal statue of Ramses II.
• The Great Alabaster Sphinx, an iconic piece of Egyptian heritage.

You’ll spend about 1 hour exploring this fascinating historical site.

5:00 PM - Return to your hotel

After visiting Memphis, your tour concludes, and you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.
